My entire life has been about the great joy and adventure of traveling. I was born and raised in Cologne, Germany, and growing up I spent most weekends and vacations on our boat, a yacht my father built and named after me. Later we switched to sailboats. I always loved adventure and at the age of twelve, I took my first train trip alone to Paris where I stayed with a French family as an exchange student. In High School I decided I would receive
additional education through traveling and would spend long weekends in Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Paris or London. Yes, Europe is small!

At the age of 16, I spent a year in California as an exchange student, to this day one of my most life altering experiences. Later, I would live in Spain and France (going to school there) and eventually moved to New York City at the age of 24 studying photography at the Center for Media Arts and later Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. From New York traveling got even easier, having the Caribbean, Canada & South America just around the corner. I visited 46 states in the US and now live in beautiful Santa Fe, NM.
It was later that I discovered my love for Asia, and traveled to Singapore, Thailand and India. In 2010 my husband Jim and I got married in Jaipur, India. Our goal is to discover one “new” country a year.
Travel has always been my bliss, inspiration and teacher. Transforming my life, nourishing my soul.
I can’t wait to share a travel adventure and inner journey with you!
